On May 12, 2022, in the morning of class 3 and 4, the School Of Liberal Arts held a demonstration public class entitled " Foreign literature A(II)" in 205, Sanshan building. Pang weiqi, a teacher from the Department of Chinese language and literature, delivered a lecture in this open class. In the class, based on historical materials and references, combined with the interpretation of The Scarlet Letter and The Miserable, and using teaching methods such as inspiration and guidance, scene representation, teacher-student interactive question and answer, story telling and picture presentation, Pang led the students into Literature World of 19^th century. Feeling the society, history and culture of that time , realizing The Ins and Outs of the trend of Realistic Literature. Understanding the Connotation and Characteristic of the Realism. Understanding the Essence of Marx's Realistic literature thesis.

In teaching, Mr. Pang integrated the "Ideological and political elements" into the Understanding of the 19^th century Cultural Trends . It brings a wonderful teaching sharing to many young and middle-aged teachers and all the students.
