On March 24, the ideological and political open course—the Basic Japanese, which is sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs and undertaken by the School of Foreign Languages, was successfully held in Tencent Online Classroom. Yao Weijie, a teacher of Japanese department of School of Foreign Languages, lectured this open class with ideological and political elements. Nearly ten teachers from inside and outside the school attended the online class.
During the class, Yao Weijie first led the students to review the important words and new grammar and sentence patterns of the text they learned before. He explained the important words in detail. In the process of explaining the words, Mr. Yao skillfully combined the words and sample sentences to show the great changes of the country in just a few decades, which enhanced the national pride and national confidence of the students.
Since this open class was conducted on the network platform, there is a slight deficiency in class interaction due to technical limitations. While teaching class contents, Mr. Yao also enhanced students' national confidence through unconsciously influenced ideological and political education. The class design and teaching effect were all praised by the observing teachers.
