At 2:00 on the afternoon of March 22, 2021, the School of Finance and Economics held the demonstration class entitled Financial Management Theory and Practice in Room 607 of Sanshan Building. This course was taught by Xu Huizhen, who was awarded the honorary title of “Top 10 Faculty Members of Jiangsu University”. The students of this class was from majors of Financial Management of Grade 19. More than 10 teachers of the School participated in the teaching emulation activity.
Xu Huizhen’s delivery was both logically sound and hierarchically structured. She made full use of modern multimedia means, in combination with the refined blackboard writing. She guided students to apply knowledge to solve practical problems through case teaching. The students were actively involved in the interaction between the teacher and students. Both the leading role of the faculty and the subjective role of students were fully exerted to produce a good teaching effect.
This demonstration class has achieved the expected effect and warmly received, for it not only provides a good example for the faculty of the School of Finance and Economics to further improve their level of classroom instruction, but also provides a good opportunity for them to actively improve the teaching methods and the quality of teaching.
