On the afternoon of April 22, a delegation of three from the Center for Faculty Development of Army Military Transportation University at Zhenjiang visited Jiangsu University. The delegation was headed by Director Zang Shu of the Center for the purpose of teaching research and exchanges. The Center for Faculty Development of Jiangsu University Deputy Director Li Xinchao attended the talks with the visitors.
At the meeting, Li Xinchao first extended a welcome to Zang Shu and his delegation on behalf of the Center for Faculty Development of Jiangsu University. Then he make a comprehensive introduction to the Center from the perspectives of Functions, Framework, Major Tasks, and Speculation and Exploration. He expressed the wishes that both parties would further reinforce the bilateral exchanges and cooperation and promote the quality development of the centers for faculty development of both universities.
Zang Shu commended the faculty training, young faculty cultivation and faculty development of the Center for Faculty Development of Jiangsu University. According to Zang, the concept, ideas and development experience of the Center for Faculty Development of Jiangsu University set a good example for other colleges and universities. He hoped for further cooperation, resources sharing and mutual promotion between the two sides.
Towards the end of the meeting, the two universities exchanged ideas and proposed plans on faculty training, faculty development and the signing of a letter of intent on the strategic cooperation between the two universities.
