In order to adapt to international school running and promote the improvement of English teaching ability, at 4:30 p.m. on October 27, the School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering held the 2021 English teaching competition on the second floor of the Experimental Center of the automobile building. The competition was presided over by Vice President Geng Guoqing, and invited Li Xinchao, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, Li Zhongxing, Professor of the school, Tang Dong, Professor of the school and other experts with rich experience in international education as judges. All young teachers of the college observed this competition.
After voluntary registration and department recommendation, a total of five teachers participated in the competition. They carefully prepared, skillfully designed, accurately grasped the teaching content and teaching rhythm, paid attention to the innovation of teaching ideas and teaching methods, expressed clearly and smoothly, won the recognition of the judges present, and fully demonstrated the teaching style of our teachers.
After the competition, judges commented on each participating teacher in turn, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions from the aspects of content integrity, teaching aids and case design, PPT layout design, etc., which benefited all participating contestants and young teachers.
Finally, vice president Geng Guoqing summarized the English teaching competition and pointed out that this competition has built a good communication platform for further improving teachers' professional skills and teaching methods in all English and promoting the professional growth of young teachers. It is expected that teachers, especially young teachers, will promote the competition and constantly improve their English teaching ability and level.
