At 14 p.m. on December 17, 2021, School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering was holding a course ideological and political open class "Programing Basic(C++ Language)" in room 405 of SanJiang building. This open class was aimed at 83 students majoring in Computer Science and Technology in Grade 2021 lectured by Associate Professor Pan Yuqing of the college. Some teachers from schools and colleges participated in the open class activity.
The content of this course ideological and political open class was "Array". The focus of teaching was to teach students to use the loop structure to assign and arrange the two-dimensional array matrix, and to guide students to understand the definition and use of pointers.
Firstly, Professor Pan led the students to review the teaching content of the previous class, and focus on sorting out the selection and exchange order of data in a two-dimensional array, and then timely located the homework feedback to answer related questions. Later, Professor Pan used relevant teaching software to introduce students in detail to understand how to sort array data according to the actual situation and better improve the efficiency of code operation. Then he used some examples such as Yang Hui's triangle and magic square to consolidate students' memory of knowledge points. Finally, Professor Pan guided student to learn the definition and use of pointers, which is the most important feature and main difficulty of C++ language. Professor Pan often applied vivid metaphors and examples closed to life to guide students well step by step, and also used appropriate examples of course ideological and political class to suit the teaching content. The class became a good guide for students to clearly understand the relevant content of the pointer.
The class was lively and interesting, and Professor Pan was enthusiastic in teaching positively. The students listened to the classes actively and carefully, and could clearly understand the teaching content and interact with Professor Pan in class in time. This open class really benefited the students a lot.
The success of course ideological and political open class has made a great harvest and understanding to the students and teachers, for classroom teaching to provide a good example.
