An open ideological and political course of the university-level course 《Food Technology》was held in the School of Food and Biological Engineering

On the morning of March 21st, the School of Food and Biological Engineering held an open ideological and political course ofFood Technologyin Room 3304, Jingjiang Building. The course was taught by Associate Professor Zhou Xinghua from the Department of Food Quality and Safety. Professor Zhou Cunshan, Vice Teaching President of the institute, assistant teaching training teachers and two young teachers from the School of Pharmacy attended the open class.

In order to introduce the content of this class the organizational structure and chemical composition of meat, Zhou reviewed the dairy products taught in the last class. Combining with our daily life practical cases, Zhou vividly explained the organizational structure of meat, the morphological structure of meat, the chemical composition and properties of meat and other contents. The design of ideological and political links in the course is natural and smooth, while explaining professional knowledge in a simple way, not rigid, easy to accept. While realizing effective knowledge imparting, it also promotes the cultivation of professional quality. By explaining the composition and characteristics of meat, students are encouraged to observe and analyze after class to improve their practical ability. Introduce real cases of food processing and safety in our dally life, and educate students to abide by the law. By explaining the changes of meat after slaughter, students are encouraged to understand the preparation process of various kinds of food in daily life, and think about the scientific basis, so as to improve their scientific literacy and professional ability.

The classroom design, classroom interaction and teaching effect were all praised by the students and teachers. It not only gave full play to the exemplary and leading role of excellent teachers, but also built a learning platform for young teachers to improve their ideological and political design and other aspects of the curriculum. The College will continue to adhere to the fundamental task of cultivating virtues and cultivating people, and strive to achieve the simultaneous resonance of knowledge imparts and value guidance.
