On April 7, the Center for Faculty Development of Jiangsu University organized the workshop entitled “Use of Recording Equipment” in Room A204 of the Main Building. The workshop was aimed at further promoting the level of modern educational technology of JSU faculty in response to the development of educational computerization and informatization. Faculty representatives from a number of schools participated in the training.
In this training, the method that combines live explanation with practical operation was adopted. The technical personnel introduced the basic application, operation skills, and precautions of the recording equipment, as well as the approaches for the production of micro lectures and the installation and use of related applications under different teaching contexts. They demonstrated the recording of micro lectures and post production skills involved on the spot. The faculty at present worked hard and communicated with the technicians actively.
Through the training, the faculty members mastered the preliminary operations of the recording equipment, which provided technical support for the follow-up teaching activities such as micro course production and course recording and broadcasting.
