On the afternoon of May 11, 2022, the eighth teaching Salon of Jiangsu University was successfully held on Tencent conference platform. The salon was organized by the School of Liberal Arts, with the theme of "training path of normal students' core literacy under the background of normal professional certification", and the keynote speaker was Dr. Wu Keqin. Mr. Wu introduced the three concepts and eight indicators of professional certification from the three aspects of the concept connotation, system standard and preparation of normal professional certification, and expounded the connotation and training path of normal students' core literacy in combination with the core certification standard of "graduation requirements". After that, the participants had a heated discussion and exchange from the aspects of optimizing the curriculum structure system, improving the talent training practice system, comprehensive teaching reform and so on. Finally, Zhou Du, vice president of the School of Liberal Arts, put forward expectations for SLA to better meet the certification of normal major and explore the training path of normal students' core literacy in the future. The salon was presided over by Associate Professor Zhou Heng, head of the Department of Chinese language and literature.
