On the afternoon of April 4th,2023, College of Computer Science and Communication Engineering held the ideological and political public course of “Fundamentals of Programming” in Room 513, Sanshan Building. This open class lectured by Mr. Li Lei from the College of Computer is for 35 students from Class 2201 of Excellent College. Moreover the school supervisor, the college’s young teachers and teachers from other colleges participated in this class for teaching observation .
Content of this ideological and political open course includes array of several applications and explanation.
First of all, Mr.Li commented on the homework reserved before class, and led to the key topic of today’s class: the routine application of array in programming. Mr. Li introduced the four applications of array to the students in turns, which are sorting, search, insertion and deletion and described the implementation idea of the these applications to the students with easy-to-understand examples.Thereby he derived how to handle affairs and store things in order efficiently in personal life. Then, Mr. Li demonstrated programming for the students, showing how to specifically use the array application method, and in the process of seeking perfect code,he instilled connotation of craftsman spirit into students.These focused students benefit a lot from the gradual teaching process, which is from the elementary to the profound. During the time of free discussion and self-reflection, students speak out freely and actively. Mr. Li patiently answered students’ questions while used vivid metaphors to help students better understand the application of arrays.At least, Mr. Li summed up what he had taught in today’s class and gave guidance to students that they are supposed to practice more for making themselves master of skills.
The class content was enriching and interesting, and Mr. Li ’s lecture was well organized and encouraging. The students who listened carefully and interacted actively with the teacher had better comprehension of the class content and were greatly inspired.
Today’s ideological and political education open course was successfully held. Teachers and students gained a lot from listening to the lecture that provided a good example for the political courses.
