On November 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., Art School of Jiangsu University held a teaching salon in the 1418 classroom. The lecturer of this teaching salon is Cao Runqing, a lecturer from the Department of Fine Arts, and the main content of the lecture is "cunfa” (a wrinkle method of texture stoke) in Chinese landscape painting.
Ms. Cao firstly introduced the teaching background, course objectives and teaching methods of the course, and then taught the knowledge of "cunfa" in Chinese landscape painting. The content of the course targets the need of creating art works of seniors of art-teacher-training major, points out the salient issues faced by students in creative practice at this stage, and emphasizes the important role of the traditional brush and ink structure of landscape painting. The course integrates the content learned in the earlier basic copying course of students, then improves the students' creative ability in a planned and step-by-step manner. After the lecture, teachers from Art School and some other schools discussed with Ms. Cao Runqing about the demonstration method, the way of presenting examples and other issues in the teaching process. A number of teachers had in-depth exchanges on the interaction of practical courses, and jointly discussed new methods of courseware production and presentation.
