From October 26th to November 11th，the Center for Teaching & Faculty Development of Jiangsu University organized five EMI Training activities, aiming at improving teachers’ EMI teaching ability as well as EMI teaching quality, and effectively promoting the international level of UJS.
Small-class teaching was adopted in the training program. The previous champions of bilingual teaching competition, the backbone English teacher from School of Foreign Languages and the foreign expert from International Office were invited to help teachers improve their English teaching. The training themes centered around bilingual teaching methods and skills, English pronunciation and intonation, English classroom demonstration, pre-class preparation and learning assessment, etc.
This training program has created a platform for teachers to communicate with each other, discuss English teaching skills and strategies, expand their English cultural vision and broaden their English teaching ideas.
In the future，the Center for Teaching & Faculty Development will work steadily to improve the training contents and elaborately select excellent training team to help promote teachers' professional development.
