On May 26, the Center for Faculty Development undertook the Faculty Computerized Teaching Capability Promotion Training & Module 1 Computerized Teaching Competition Experience Sharing in Room 802 of the Sanshan Building. The activity was conducted for the purpose of helping the faculty better grasp the orientation of computerized teaching competition, master the basic computerized teaching devices, and attain the high integration of information technology and education.
The experience sharing went into four stages:
First, Shen Yuanshun shared his experience of competition based on his own work for the competition, touching upon detailed issues like preparation for the competition, design of teaching interaction, time control and language performance. In addition, he demonstrated the production of micro-lecture video;
Niu Yubing articulated his understanding of teaching competition, saying that attention should be paid to both the application of information technology and basic teaching skills in a computerized teaching competition;
Li Changjie offered detailed guidance on the technological application, including the operation of computerized devices and improving the teaching effect by applying computerized teaching devices;
Finally, Wu Licheng demonstrated his own completion design entitled “Virtual simulation experiment teaching project”, sharing his experience of growth in computerized teaching.
The training that consists of both experience sharing and technological improvement provided a strong support for the improvement of the computerized teaching capability of Jiangsu University faculty and prepared them well for the coming computerized teaching competition.
