In order to promote English teaching level, the 5th English teaching competition was held on the afternoon of October 27th in the lecture hall 212, Building Huagonglou. Departments of Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering recommended one teacher to participate in the competition respectively. Meanwhile, We invited senior professors of the college as judges，they are Hengbo Yin, Qiuyun Chen, and Xiaoqi Fu. Some young teachers also observed this teaching competition.
The three participating teachers were full of enthusiasm, and they demonstrated teaching content with fluent English and flexible teaching methods. The judges scored the performance of each contestant, and gave valuable opinions and suggestions on PPT production, language expression,teaching design and teaching methods, which benefited all contestants and young teachers.
The teaching competition has built a good communication platform for teachers to learn from each other. The school will also take this opportunity to promote the competition and continuously improve teachers' English teaching ability and level.
