On the afternoon of Oct 27th, the second round of the 5th English teaching competiton was successfully held in classroom 105 in the school building. The competiton was presided over by Vice Dean Gao Guoqin, and the department (deputy) directors were invited as judges to score the participating teachers on the spot. Four teachers selected by each department participated in the second round. The participating teachers prepared course and equipment carefully, fully demonstrated their English teaching level, and won unanimous praise from the judes.
After the competiton, Mr. Li Changjie was invited to comment on the participating teachers. Mr. Li gave valuable suggestions on how to highlight the key points of blackboard writing, how to better grasp the classroom rhythm, and how to maturally integrate the ideological and political elements of the course. Finally, Vice Dean Gao Guoqin announced the winners of the competiton, and the recommended list to participate in the finals according to the quota allocated by the school.
